A RIDE: All riders are welcome to join the A ride, essentially the same group ride that has been organized over the last several years. Be advised, however: This is typically a fast, aggressive ride, at an average pace that is usually above 20mph. The routes chosen – generally to be determined the day of the ride – often feature more climbing and rugged terrain than B-ride routes. A-group riders should be aware that, if dropped, they should expect to be on their own. The rest of the group may or may not slow down or wait for stragglers. Distances range between 25 and 50 miles.

B RIDE: All riders are also welcome to join the B ride. The pace will typically average around 17mph. (For riders unfamiliar with group riding, the pace of a group ride is usually higher than the pace when riding individually.) Routes are planned ahead of time and will be posted both on this page as well as at Stark Mountain Bike Works. Each ride will feature at least three designated re-grouping points along the route. Tips on riding technique and group etiquette will be offered for those with little experience with riding in a group. Distances range between 20 and 40 miles.
