Ride and Slide on the same day
-Registration from 9-10 AM in Gatehouse courtyard at Sugarbush Resort. $20 suggested donation.
-Ride starts at 10 AM from the Gatehouse courtyard at Sugarbush Resort.
-Self-guided 27 mile long with optional add-ons, 3,200 feet of climbing. Rest stop with snacks.
-Route winds through Warren and Waitsfield along some of valleys most scenic roads.
-Mad River Riders members who participate are eligible for a free lift ticket good for Saturday May 5 2018. Join the Mad River Riders at https://members.vmba.org/membership and remember to select the Riders as your primary chapter.
The next corridor clearing day is Sunday, April 15, 9AM - 12PM. Skilled power tool operators needed for cutting smaller vegetation, helmet and other PPE required. USFS-certified chainsaw operators needed to cut larger downed trees.
Brush haulers and spotters are very welcome. Clearing brush can happen on your own time too. Let us know if you plan to go, so we can share location, current status and safety concerns.
Arrive at the south end of Warren Village’s Main Street by 9am. (TIP: enter by SOUTH Main Street – south of Covered Bridge Rd – and look for us. Bring your kids, family and friends. Ride your fatbike, mountain, road, cruiser or 12" bike.
Meet up at the Revolution trailhead at American Flatbread in Waitsfield. We will be working on a new rock feature and a couple of drainage issues. Bring rock and soil tools, buckets, rock hammers, safety glasses, gloves, good boots and wheelbarrows.
